OEM-style screen upgrade kits

Screen upgrade kits replace the vehicle display with a larger one while keeping the dashboard layout of the original vehicle. CARABC titles these kits by vehicle, model-year range and the size change itself: 8 inch to 12 inch for the Ford Expedition, Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra and Ford Bronco kits, and 8 inch to 14 inch for the Toyota Tundra kit. The Ford F150 and F250 kit is titled for SYNC2 and SYNC3 vehicles from 2015–2020 and the same 8 inch to 12 inch step.

Because the kits are vehicle-specific, the confirmation work matters more than the headline size. Two vehicles with the same badge can carry different factory systems, and the kit that applies depends on the system name as much as on the year. The SYNC2 vs SYNC3 identification check helps Ford buyers, and the blog article on large screen upgrade fitment questions collects the questions buyers most often need answered before ordering.
